Banner Making for 2nd Half of 2007 Contest

Hello all,

For those who are great at making banners and would like to help me out, please create a unique banner for each section of the site.

1) For example, the front page has its own banner and its color scheme is dark blue.
2) The anime section has its own banner (which have mostly anime characters and the color scheme is light blue).
3) The drama section has mostly asian dramas actors and color scheme is orange or golden
4) The manga section has manga characters and color scheme is purple (yellow for the manga downloads section).
5) The Asian Music Section has asian singers pictures and color scheme is light green.
6) Art studio (still optional, but you get the drift)

Make each banner exactly width: 980 and height: 350 max.

These are the general requirements, but I leave the rest of art creativity to you. Of course, it will be seen by thousands, if not millions, of visitors from around the world so make it presentable, professional and fantastically beautiful.

You can choose from one or more of the sections listed above. If you need images, google them. Use photoshop, fireworks or other drawing applications you want.

Submit it by creating your own topic on this Section and upload or hotlink the banners from photo hosting sites (one I would recommend is DropShots because it's fast, free and so easy).

I will personally include your name on the Contact Us page for a job well done and well I'll think of the prize later.

Once we have a number of banners in, everyone will vote for their favorite and the winner will automatically replace the banners that you see on top of each page right now.

Well we would be choosing 6 banners in total. But you only need to do at least one to participate. If you want to do more, then go ahead. Just reply to this topic about which ones you can do and upload the preview for it. Then, we'll vote.

Well I made one for the anime section. This is so much more fun than studying.... I think I'll make another..

The lack of entries is making me vote early. Since there's only two of you then we'll now choose among what we have so far so I can change the banners on the site. My vote is not final, but will need others opinions as well. So please choose.

Anime - artemisfowl

Modification on height of banner. Since nothing is final yet, is it possible for you guys to lessen the height from 350 max to 250.

I am currently using a 1280 by 1024 resolution and it only displays 25% on the page, but when viewed in 1024 by 768, it takes up half of the page which is too big for a site. If possible, please lessen the height of the banner to 250. Thanks

LTSapphire, did u shorten it to 800 by 200 in purpose or is it photobucket that did that because 800 seems a little too skinny?

I uploaded it onto dropshots as well, there should have the 980*250, I just edited to the recent specifications.

I'll remember to post a link to it next time, I just through the Photobucket image up for display and critism, though I really didn't change anything...

Would it be easier if I uploaded everything onto geocities, or does dropshots work?
