Just wondering who has a friendster account? I'd be glad to invite you as a friend... :love5:
I'm sure there is at least one who has a friendster account here.... well, most filipino does :icon_thumleft:

That's so true, why is Friendster so popular in the Philippines? That's how I keep in touch with my cousins in the Philippines who I havent seen for more than 14 years.

let's see... some of the reasons :

a) because it's obvious that its a site where you can make a lot of friends... because of its name, "friendster"
b) coz you can search, connect, and talk to friends/relatives easily... not like cps where you need to ask others for the number of a person >_>
c) coz it's basically free....and filipinos loves free/cheap stuffs.... LOL i like bargains as well ^^
d) because a lot of people are using it already, and there's a large number of people who are very active at friendster.... so to be "IN" they make a friendster account as well :triplets:
d) You feel that you're always connected to friends/relatives...
e) because you can design your own profile with flashy stuff which I don't know why they like it so much...
(LOL but in fact, they're not designing it... they're just copying codes from other sites/users)
f) coz you can just post at the bulletin/blog and announce to people what's going on... instead of contacting them one by one....

Nah, I use my brother's account to talk with my cousins. I don't really like using a predefined website like myspace or friendster or other sites like those. I like designing my own sites instead of following the trends. Well you can keep in touch with me through my site or chatting.

LOL... i don't use my space too.... i have 0 friends hahaha .... but at least i have an account ^^
i use friendster to be in touch with my former classmates...

i like to have my own site too... (just signed for 110mb.com ^^)
but i don't want my site to look .... "cheap" so i want to study more than just the basics.... >_>
but i have school and stuff and i can't find the time to study advanced things in photoshop, html, php... etc. ....
coz u see.... philippines isn't that "industrialized" ...
so.. we don't learn about html .... well, not yet...
if you wanna study, help yourself....
i bet my classmates dunno about html.... we're that ignorant .... so we stick to friendster instead....

Eeeh, really. I always thought Philippines had really good computer classes especially when there was an uproar about a Pilipino computer hacker who destroyed a massive database like around 2000? , I forgot the year. But that was such a big news here in the States when they found out it was just an old man tinkering with computers from the Philippines. I was so surprised. I wanted to become a computer hacker too, but in a good way. Haha

maybe he was just a geek or something... and, schools of technology in the phils. always base on abroad for their lessons.... phils. never had a technological invention ^_^;
