I don't mind - as long as there's something uploaded (hopefully its in chinese - not japanese). But of course I'd prefer the scanlations!

o_O Am I the only who voted "NO"?!?!? As much as I want to know what the next chapter would be, I prefer the scanlated ones. It's a sad fact that I can not understand Japanese.  :crybaby2: It's a spoiler for me if I read the raw. ^_^

Although, if people wants raw mangas, I don't mind if someone uploaded it as long as they say it's raw version.

I agree... as long as thay say that it's raw... coz I don't like to wait
about how many minutes to download, then you're so excited to read it, but when you opened the file
you realized that you can't understand a thing.... O_O  :crybaby2:

I agree with Pauline. I can't survive without scanlations  :sad2:. I only know how to read English ( and a bit of french..) RAWs fine, as long as its labeled

No, really. I am. Besides that, in my personal opinion no raws. Why? because I won't look at them, and I don't look at them then the uploaders don't recieve the appreciation he/she fully deserves. If this kid wants to upload raws well, knock yourself out. I'm against it because I don't want to waste your time.

Then again. If. Major If. Capital I-F. IF possible, maybe we could do some scanlations of our own. You know that prison where they pound useless bits of knowledge into you where its contradicted later anyways? School? Right, yeah that place. It's getting close to the end, I could learn how to clean the scans. I've tried it before and I've got the basics down. It's an idea. A very vague idea. One that requires little thought. Remember now, I'm tired and feeling rather catankerous.

i voted yes. now it's a tie again. i don't mind raws... preferably chinese though... i could translate most of it. doing our own scanlations is not a bad idea.

Well, if we can get a group going yeah sure. They only problem is getting enough people to do it and getting our own scanners. I guess is at least two editors. The translating and scanning shouldn't be all that bad, but if I remember correctly it takes a bit for translators because you gotta figure out what font is needed and stuff. Hmm... this could work.

Woahh there,

Scanlating our own manga is a good idea, but making time to actually get it done is another story. I'm in my senior year of college and busy with getting my assignments and work done.

If you guys are really willing to actually scanlate then go ahead. I'll try to look for the raw mangas myself, but there should be a list of people who can translate, typeset, edit, etc. PM or reply to this topic about your skills and what your responsibility should be.

Also give me a list of raw mangas you want to translate and I'll see if I can find those.

Right now, that's all I can provide. Need more feedback.

It tears my heart to piece to know that a manga I'm IN LOVE WITH, I am unable to read and everyone else is sickering behind my back (The ones who can read whatever language its in) and talking about how AMAZING IT WAS. Especially if its in Chinese. o.o


Wow. Scanlating? That sounds so . . . REVOLUTIONARY. I'd love to help with whatever I can. I'm a quick learner, and I'm pretty sure I have what it takes to do SOMETHING in the scanlating process. Meh. I can try typesetting or be the second editor (if I can get my photoshop to work, won't even ImageReady due?)

Adding raw mangas to this forum would be great.  I can't read any other language beside English and Spanish, but I still like to download raws of my favorite books.  I cant' pretty much tell what is happening!!! :icon_thumright:

i voted NO. i can read both japanese n chinese, though not so well, and i find english to be nicer.. those japanese n chinese make my eyes hurt :crybaby2:

i prefer scan mode rather than raw ...
right now, i had find da link for my all time fav manga "Crayon Shin Chan full collection v1-v45"...
but all r still in chinese raw ... n i dun understand chinese except english only

so if u r willing to doing translation, may i ask ur favor to translate sin chan manga into english??  :help: :help: :help:
