I know this may have been asked so many times from other forums, but I would like to know what everyone's favorite animes are.
(Sorry if you did do this in the older forum, but I was not able to save that and transfer it to here)
Of all time I guess it's...
1. Full Metal Alchemist: I dunno... it just scared me really bad, not that it's scary but I'm always afraid that something bad would happen to Ed and Al because everyone else kept dropping like flies. I was really touched by this anime.
2. Hikaru no Go: yeah, yeah yeah yeah... I still loved it anyway. Now he's a real good story about the transition from a kid to an adult... and not in a perverted way mind you.
3. Hunter x Hunter: One of the best typical fighting shounen series ever. I mean for me it's better than Naruto, Bleach and One Piece altogether.
4. Kare Kano: Okay finally a shoujo series... I mean every episode has me wanting more. That is what I call heart wrenching drama and I've already read the manga beforehand.
5. R.O.D -TV-: I must have a thing about sappy action shows... they use paper to whip the bad guys, sometimes literally! I'm a sucker for the shaky sibling bond shows.
i enjoy reading manga more than watching anime, but i would say Ouran Host Club, Fruits Basket and Kodocha are definitely my top 3

Voltes V - My very first anime to watch and the main reason I got addicted to animes. *blames older brother* ^_^ Dunno if some of you knows it or even have ever heard of it. ^_^
Yu Yu Hakusho - First encounter of a bishie. *screams* Kurama!!! Okay ... he's actually second, first was Tuxedo Mask [forgot the name] from Sailor Moon.
FullMetal Alchemist - I just LOVE this anime ... won't get tired of rewatching it. ^_^
I think that's the top 3 of my all time faves.

Well, in the past I would have said Naruto, but the fillers have killed that for me. I'm not giving up, though, because once they get back to the manga (now confirmed for early Spring), I think the anime will get back on track.
I like anime with humor, so I'd definitely include Ouran Host Club and Karin in the list. Nana has drama and humor; I didn't like the anime at first, but knew that with the manga I felt the same way. Both have grown on me.
One that I didn't expect to like was Blood+, but again I'm glad that I watched more than one or 2 episodes. That ended up being one of my favorite series ever....although it was big on action (not my favorite genre) it also got into the relationships. And, the soundtrack has an orchestral score that is beautiful. Track 15, "Diva", still gives me chills....the person singing that aria has an unearthly voice, amazingly pure and she hits high notes that are incredible.

-the fillers are already ending! theyre starting get back on track and show sasuke in no time

- this one is also very funny! i love how clueless sosuke is about normal life. but the ending
was kinda left hanging since he didnt really say who he loves...i dont think he even knows
that himself.. but its all good cause this is really funny...
cardcaptor sakura
-a very cute story with very cute characters....this is one of my favorite CLAMP anime

Favorites? Huh. That's tough. One would have to be Ouran High School Host Club, it's just damn hilarious the manga is cute too, I recommend to anyone really, esp. if you're a girl.
Chrno Crusade is excellent as well, art is gorgeous, plot is gut wrenchingly awesome, and the leads are just spectacular. Chrisopher Rosette is a real heroine and someone you can really connect with and Chrono is just fricked wickedly awesome.

My favourite anime would be Code Geass. I strongly recommend this anime for all those who have an interest in Death Note. You can pick out similarities between the two animes. Code Geass is an anime about a young high school boy named Lelouch who obtains a power called 'Geass'. When Lelouch uses Geass upon a person, that perosn obeys his command. This is an intertesting anime with a range of genres.
