How do you get your fill of anime?
Y'know there's Youtube, Bittorrent, and other major download sites. There are also the fansubbers site and IRC, how exactly do you folks do it.
I personally use youtube, but that's just me. I'm just angry because Full Moon Wo Sagashite isn't on there.
and yes I do watched licensed anime on youtube.
hmmm.... youtube....crunchyroll.....other anime sites where they can provide me the animes i wanted ..... er... bittorrents as well.... *is frustrated that until now elfen lied hasn't completely downloaded*
are all bittirrent softwares the same? er... do you have any recommendations? i'm using bitlord.... >_>
Yoooo, did this site seriously block out -shit- in Sagshite? Dude.
I'm pretty sure all bittorent programs works the same, I really don't think they differ probably just how many users are on it.
Elfin Lied... bloody. I saw the first episode.
LOL ... yeah.... in fact it was my first bloody anime to watch ^^
that's why when i was watching the first episode... and the security guard had his head cut off...i was like, WTF??? o_O
i was so frightened i restarted the pc LOL!!!
....and it took me days to earn the courage to watch it >_<
Hahahaha, that's funny. You know what's a good mystery anime? Ghost Hunt. The concepts are basic japanese culture so it's good for a little bit of learning. PLus you just fall in love with the characters. I heard the manga goes farther in depth with the characters and backgrounds, but I can't find the stupid thing anywhere, but it is licensed by DelRay so I'll have to go look for it at Borders.
I think its scanlated by BYAAH.... lol but byaah has no forum, site and irc....
and theres another scanlating group but they only got volume 1.... >_<
i guess i can find it and upload it on the site... ^^
i wanna read it too... LOL
Gaaah! If you upload the first volume and I don't have the rest the only thing I'm going to do is shoot myself to end the torture of ignorance!
I get my anime fix through Netflix. It is very convenient. Before Netflix, I subscribed to Rentanime but, I decided to change for several reasons, but the most telling one was that Rentanime took long to put their title up for rent. Netflix has tons of anime to choose from and they tend to put the title up pretty quickly. And if you see your favorite title is not there, all you have to do is email them, and they get the title quickly. Extra Bonus is you like to fill your vision with other things beside anime you can. I also like to watch adult swim. Right now I am watching Bleach and Blood +. :icon_flower:
I use veoh. they have lots of stuff in full anime episodes unlike youtube
I use Veoh too. Then there's downloading entire series using bittorrent. Haha, I did that Yu Yu Hakusho before I learned of youtube.

wait till she'll put it on the site... lol XD
Awesomeness.
Anyways back on topic. I found a couple other sites that has manga downloads. I should probably check out how they work their forums to see how they attract people, but I do get downloads from other sites from time to time. Having multiple manga sources is always good... :)
Yup... having other sites as back-up is pretty helpful...
Well... i think other sites require you to log in before downloading anything?
Their account is for forums too so they can just post while dling mangas, etc. Here, its optional... you can just leech for mangas in the dl page... ^^
Bittorent and I just never get along :argue:
I just watch it on several sites online, such as animecap, stage6, veoh, etc. I download from stage6 and veoh once in a while if I really like it. Crunchyroll's quality is not as good and they usually have deleted the ones I'm trying to look for :(
I buy some dvds (some used, some new) only if I really, really, really like it and think that it's worth it.
Aahh that sucks. The only best access to new animes coming out is bittorrent. I've tried watching animes on youtube or veoh, but its just not the same when you can't watch them full screen in high quality. And DVD animes tend to be very expensive and bad translations or dubbing. Bittorrent is heaven if you can make it work. Why isn't it working for you anyways?
bittorent is too easy to use... didnt even searched for tutorials... O_O
maybe it's a pc problem?
Well, it would never complete the downloads for me (i've tried reinstalling and such) and I was a bit paranoid about getting viruses. I've never actually tried it on my laptop, my pc was a bit old so that could be a problem. I'll give it a try once more, it would be nice to se it full screen.
What bittorrent client are you using?
Also if your connection is dial up, don't even try downloading anything. Dial up is just too slow for bittorrent. Especially if others keep hogging the uploads. If you go to animesuki or real fansubber sites, they never put viruses in their torrents (or at least so far I've never experienced any) so you shouldn't be too paranoid about that.
And your PC should have the correct codecs to be able to play any types of files, look here >> http://cccp-project.net/
To tell you the truth. I fought with bittorrent a lot. I just download stuffs off Veoh.
I don't download the anime myself.......but if I am so impatient and desperate enough, I watch it online on crunchyroll, veoh or pisoga. Don't like to use youtube watching anime since it splits each episode into parts.
Come to think of it... it really is kinda irritating that the anime episodes are divided into parts. But I still stick with it especially when I'm impatient coz it's easier to load the video that way. My pc hates videos. T_T
