P.S.  Last Thursday I came back from a 2-week stay in the Philippines.  It was great to get out of the cold weather here & see some relatives I haven't seen in awhile...But I'm no closer to learning Tagalog.  :-/

That's nice. There's nothing better than a vacation with your relatives in a warm place, like the Philippines. Lol.. it takes time to learn a language. xD Tagalog is easy to learn when you have someone to practice the language to. ^^
